InterPacJO's foundation is built on our core values. Our mission is to make our customers' operations as productive and stress-free as possible in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.
We realize that we have an impact on our team members, environment, the community and our customers. With this in mind, we strive to create a positive impact on our various stakeholders: the InterPacJO Impact.
We wanted to show that the InterPacJO Impact are not just empty words, but it is a real promise to all our stakeholders. We believe that as a business we need to find that balance between purpose and profit. Therefore, we decided to join a global movement of people using business as a force for good. We are extremely proud to say that we are now a Certified B Corporation®.
This certification goes beyond product- or service-level certifications. It's the only certification that measures a company's entire positive impact. Certified B Corporations® are trusted businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. As a B Corp™ aka "better cooperation", we give as much consideration to our social and environmental impact as to our financial returns.
Of the 5.9 million small to medium sized businesses in theJordan, just 193 are certified as B Corps™, so we are thrilled to be part of this new movement.
At InterPacJo, we do everything we can to support the environment. So, we've made it easier for our customers to make an impact too.
Our partnership with Ecologi allows our customers to offset their paper packaging waste in just a few clicks.
Inside customer's online account area, they can track their packaging waste. Together with Ecologi, customers now have the ability to re-plant the paper packaging they used to make a real impact on atmospheric CO2 levels.
Not only do we give our customers the option to grow their forest, we are also growing our own InterPacJoforest to create employment for local families, restore wildlife habitats and reduce our carbon footprint.
At InterPacJo, we are now Carbon Neutral Certified! This means InterPacJO met all the Carbon Neutral Britain Certification standards in measuring, calculating, and carbon offsetting all organisational carbon emissions since January 2021.
We achieved this certification through first of all reducing our carbon footprint where possible. To offset the remaining carbon footprint, we partnered with Ecologi to plant trees and to sponsor additional projects.
Some of the projects InterPacJO has supported are: Protecting and restoring the Pacific Coast of Colombia, turning waste biogas into electricity in Thailand, converting landfill gas to energy in Northern Turkey, preserving Amazonian rainforest in Brazil, solar power generation in India.
As a B Corporation, at InterPacJO we truly care about our impact on the environment and by becoming a Carbon Neutral Business, we are taking those extra steps in helping to make a difference and combat climate change.
At InterPacJO we support the following charities with donations.
Additionally, we actively promote our team members to get involved as well. One day a year, each team member can voluntarily support a charity of their choice.
The pandemic made us realize even more that we are all in this together. In the last couple of months, we have donated over 300 hand sanitisers, masks and anti-bacterial sprays to customers, charities and care homes to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
As a business, we strive to create value for our customers. We do this by continuously improving our company, products and services. Our customers are our biggest source of inspiration and we love feedback. We would love to claim that all new innovation ideas come from us, but that wouldn't be accurate. Ideas of improvement are sparked by having close relationships with our customers and listening closely to what is actually needed.
Part of creating value for our customers, is providing the best service possible. Service is part of our core values and we could talk days about how great our service is, but we believe we should let our customers' reviews speak for itself.
As a family-owned business, we truly care about our employees and we understand that we can only provide packaging with a personal touch through our dedicated team.
